I had recently ordered two brake calipers from the online store for pickup at my nearest location; what was sent was two "core" returns (pics). The store I picked them up from won't take them back and Napa doesn't seem to want to forward my case (5+days now). Not only that but I had to purchase two working calipers, and took my used ones back for my "core" deposit and only received $50 on the $80+ "core" deposit! What a load of bull! NAPA CAN GUARANTEE I NEVER SHOP WITH YOU AGAIN!
I ordered two products separately online which was no problem. Then when I got my credit card notification of charges, the amount was way over the actual purchase price. When I called to find out why they said 'they're just pending charges, when you pick up and process the order for check out at the store' the correct price will go to the card in about two business days'. What kind of bs is that. The purchase price on the order is what should show up on the credit card, pending or not. How can they have any random amount they want sent for processing to a card. Just make sure if you do order online that you check to make sure the order price on your invoice/receipt is what was charged. I don't have time for this nonsense of having to keep going back to my card to make sure it gets billed right.

I run a repair shop in NC. Have always preferred Napa parts, but the quality has gone to crap in the last few years. Why pay twice as much at Napa, to get the same crap the other stores sell?
I returned a gasket paper rool in its original packaging and was charged 25% return... WOW what a rip-off!
The reason i was returning it was because another supplier had the same product at $10... napa price was $31... not only are the ripping you off with the 25% return they're price gouging you with the product...
Ill never buy there again. And I'll make sure everyone i know doesn't buy there either.
Business like this need to go under for true fair pricing company's to come in and replace them.
I had to order a replacement alternator for the 2007 Dodge Caravan and when I priced it online NAPA wanted 3 times the price for a rebuilt Bosch alternator plus a core charge as well as sales tax, Rock Auto did not charge me for a core and did not charge me sales tax so I went with buying it from Rock Auto.
Always love laying on my back on a cold floor changing a starter twice, because the Jack Wagon buyers@ NAPA, chose to buy Chinese or Mexican crap. Starter bolt holes for my '78 Chevy are SAE, not metric. Had to get cleaned up & return the starter & wait until the next day to get the right one. Luckly, we had an extra car to use.
Napa service in Joliet is awesome I had a nail in my tire the gentleman with there his took his time to help me I didn't have an appointment he actually cared and help fix me tire so I can get home safety and to me me that made my day that his took time out his day to help and made sure I made it home safe not to many companies have that type of caring in their heart awesome job to Napa and their fellow workers have a great team in the Joliet facility.
Refused to take back a core because they said they could not figure out how process it! Terrible customer service.
I go to the morena store often. Typically unfriendly brunette female, this time totally rude!
If there was a place for a negative star review Napa Auto Parts in Wharton Tx would get one. The clerk (Matthew Lopez) we dealt with was rude to both me and my wife. He lied to us about his ability to research a lost receipt, about the location being an independent part of the Napa chain and he had bad attitude without end. You'd think he'd be aware that there are at least three auto parts stores in Wharton Tx and that there would be some appreciation that we gave his store the opportunity for the sales the location made. No customer service No willingness to do the right thing and apparently no idea that the customer comes first. Both thumbs down
Went to the website, requested the parts, and they had them in store the next day. Picked them up and they were a perfect fit... Even had install and adjustment instructions in the box. Salesman informed me of all the warranty/return conditions before I paid for them. Thanks.
We were in a serious pinch, and Napa provided us with assistance above and beyond their regular call of duty. Renewed my faith in humanity!

I know who Shelly Anderson is talking about in the business in Grayling, who balks at doing any extras for you! I, too would give the company NO stars, if I could!...Anyways, as to the NAPA company, itself, BEWARE of the sales that advertise 20% off. It is NOT 20% off of everything as they lead you to believe. After 4 months of constantly writing to and calling the company to find out about how these sales work and to complain about the way it is a scam for consumers, the company never responded except to tell me to call them, which I did and got no where. I will take my business elsewhere as they scam and do not give customer service. (One telephone agent actually told me, it is like a scam!) After I purchased hundreds of dollars last time, expecting it to be 20% off and it was not, I was very disappointed. So, BEWARE! Ask about the price of each and every item when you purchase at these sales there.

Fuel pump for classic roadrunner didn't last 50 miles. I suppose 'success' is lucky i didn't eat a $100 wrecker fee. It never started cold without primer until i replaced the new NAPA fuel pump with another new NAPA fuel pump. At least it starts easy now when cold. After doing job twice. The chevy truck has been yard art for two years, as i don't really have time to do every job repeatedly. The store has the used broken part they charger me $300plus for. This isn't a success story, it's a story of failure, no honor or honesty in store, and non-existent quality control.

Recently I had need of help in rebuilding my '64 Corvette. On line there is a recommendation to have the rear outer bearings removed by a local garage. I first contact the Chevy dealers and was turned down cold. I contacted NAPA and they did the job, charging very little and doing the work very quickly.

Employee, Ryan is the kind of employee that gives you legal problems. He verbally accosted my wife. I wouldn't waste my time with NAPA. They've always been overpriced for low end items. I ended up here after the Keizer branch took our money and lost our order.
In this case, I bought an item and the place wouldn't get it to me until a lawyers name was dropped. Called fraud guys. If I by a part and your company won't deliver the item that's a problem. Paying for the item and having you tell us you can't see the purchase and won't give us our parts with proof of purchase is fraud.
Let's see where this goes. I smell a bill from Nissan at your door

I have a history with this NAPA and with other NAPA stores as well.
Help with do it yourselfer and great garage for service work
I'm lucky. NAPA has professionals on site for both parts and service.
I like to work on my own cars but send my wife's car to NAPA for most work. In Los Alamos NM there are a few good part stores, NAPA is one of them. There are also several garages that do work, and NAPA is the one I trust most. When I work on my own car I can trust NAPA to get me the right parts, do some of the work, like remove the outer bearings on my '64 Corvette rear spindles and when they work on my wife's car to do the work right and never over charge.
